The Second Home Owner Study was conducted by Dr. Barbara McNicol of Mount Royal College in partnership with Gary Buxton, Senior Manager of Planning and Engineering, Town of Canmore. The study was intended to discover some basic information about our non-resident citizens, such as their place of permanent residence, where they live in Canmore, why they chose to purchase property in Canmore and what they value in the community. The attached report is the initial survey findings. Additional information will follow and will be released as it becomes available.
